Northern Beaches Swim Club

Northern Beaches Swim Club provides the opportunity for swimmers of all ages to participate in weekly races in a fun & supportive environment. We are affiliated with Warringah Amateur Swimming Association (WASA) & our members have the opportunity to contest district carnivals, workshops and annual training camps.

Our weekly races are held at Freshwater Rock Pool every Sunday afternoon during the summer season. Registration for weekly races is between 3:00-3:20pm. The action kicks off after 3:30pm

All ages and abilities are welcome to swim their chosen distance and events. Distances start at 10m for our “bubble” swimmers and progress through 15m, 25m, 50m and 100m. We swim a minimum of three swimming strokes each week on a continued rotation. Throughout the season additional events such as brace relays and family events are added to specialist club days (Christmas and Family fun day).

Our family day is a fun day where our champions, both young & young at heart, contest a variety of relays and events structured around participation & having fun.

Weekly races are on rain, hail or shine – we only cancel club races in the event of an electrical storm or pool closure.
